Sundial clock

In Isai Ambala school children were learning about the time. Few children were struggling to tell the correct time. We took it as a project and told how the sun is related to time in the olden days. We also showed children a few videos about time how it evolved. we also told when it is daytime in India, and it is a night in the US. These children were able to understand that it’s because of the Earth’s rotation that day and night happen. How the time evolved from olden days to till now. Children told in the olden days they used Sundial to tell the time and they wanted to build their own Sundial. while building the Sundial we learned a few Maths concepts like angle, degree, latitude, and long. How to split angle using GeoGebra. They learned about sectors how to split a circle. They learn to add and subtract two different times. They used GeoGebra to learn these concepts. Then we made an actual sundial look at the degree of Auroville using cardboard.
